Automated Crack Segmentation for Bridge Inspection from Consumer Drones

Abstract

A segmentation model and flight protocol for inspecting concrete bridges with off-the-shelf drones, validated on 112 structures with a provincial roads authority. We report per-structure recall and the failure cases that motivated a human review workflow.
