Overview
Applied AI for Professionals is for people who have outgrown the chat window. Analysts, product managers, marketers, operations leads and founders who want to build small AI features and automations themselves, and to brief engineers credibly when something bigger is needed.
The course runs for twelve weeks in three month-long blocks. Month one teaches the Python and data handling you need — nothing more — and gets you cleaning real datasets by week two. Month two builds your first predictive model and, more importantly, teaches you to read its results honestly. Month three is generative AI: calling a model from code, retrieval over your own documents, and automations with guardrails.
Evening sessions are live online on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Saturday labs are in person at the Lahore campus or live online for remote learners, and are where the capstone gets built. You finish with a working AI feature for your own workplace, demonstrated to faculty and your cohort.
Outcomes
- Write and read enough Python to clean data, call APIs and automate repetitive work.
- Train, validate and explain a simple predictive model, including precision, recall and the cost of being wrong.
- Build a retrieval-backed assistant over a document set and evaluate its answers.
