Bilal Ahmed leads the Language & Reasoning Lab, whose work on evaluation harnesses and Urdu-language benchmarks is used by several regional AI teams. Before the institute he was a research scientist at a large search company, working on question answering.

He teaches NLP with Transformers and LLM Engineering & Evaluation, and supervises three research fellows. PhD, University of Edinburgh.
